Collaboration: Floraïku is pleased to invite one of Seoul's most talented and creative designers: Hakmin Lee. He created Studio HAK, whose ambition is to make our environment more playful through everyday objects. Studio HAK works in a variety of fields, including decorative objects, toy art, illustration and conceptual design. Working with candles proved an ideal playground for him.

Inspiration: The shape of the candle is inspired by Lee's Paw furniture series, based on pop culture and cartoons, where animals play a starring role. A cat figure as hero, its paw declined first as a stool, a pot and now as a candle: a perfect match for Floraïku's iconic Yokai, with its mischievous cat appearing inside our bento boxes. Even the color, a bright orange, refers to Floraïku's emblematic color.

The candle and its matches come in boxes illustrated by Hakmin Lee to perfect the collaboration, from design to illustration, 3D to drawing.
